    Fixed the issue on my end by right clicking on the game in the Steam library, going to Properties, the Controller tab, and selecting "Disable Steam Input" on the drop down settings.  Hope it works for you guys too, good luck!

I had the same issue, and the camera flipped to looking at the air randomly while I was trying to play. I tried to unplug all my USB devices and reinstalled some drivers, but nothing worked. After a few hours I tried to disable also bluetooth of my PC and set the RAW Mouse Data in the Battlefield 2042 Settings to "OFF". Now it works like a charm. Even though I have to toggle the Mouse Data RAW Setting before every match.
