Sometimes , after a bios flash, for some unknown reason, bios wont do a full reset.
Upgrade bios to latest flash version, then do a CMOS reset <-- , check manual, ya need to connect 2 pins while power cable is disconnected !!!! See last pictureWhen ya did reset bios, ya need to set XMP again , and also set RESIZEABLE BAR ( i will post a screenshot how to enable resizeable bar).
brb need to make some screenshots !!2 minutes laterrr
Ya can select EXTREME at INTEL DEFAULT SETTINGS, no undervolt , lower oc needed. That is fixed by this bios flash (make sure ya flash latest) ..129
Goto the tab SETTINGS, then select IO PORTS
Now for resizeable bar ya need to enable 3 settings !!
ABOVE 4G DECODING set to ENABLED
ABOVE 4GB MMIO BIOS ASSIGNMENT set to ENABLED
RE-SIZE BAR SUPPORT set to ENABLED
So first step, update BIOS to the LATEST VERSION
Then do a CMOS RESET , i will post MANUAL LINK and INSTRUCTION PAGE NUMBER <<<--- See last picture
Then set settings for INTEL DEFAULT SETTINGS (PERFORMANCE) , XMP, RE SIZE BAR SUPPORT (and don forget to disable APP CENTER DOWNLOAD & INSTALL)Save bios settings with F10, it will train memory , can take some time (about a minute).
System will boot , then do this:
Now Delete all content from cache folder ,location: C:\Users\YOUR USERNAME\AppData\Local\BattlefieldGameData.kin-release.Win32\cache
Check for latest WINDOWS and SYSTEM DRIVERS UPDATES.Try to avoid any SYSTEM DRIVER UPDATE DONE BY WINDOWS , CHECK GIGABYTE SITE FOR THE LATEST DRIVERS.
INTEL CHIP SET DRIVER AVAILABLE AT INTEL SUPPORT SITE.
Also use the latest GPU driver (select clean install in GPU driver setup!!!)
Reboot system and test game.
Cheers
PS It can be help full , before ya reboot system to REPAIR/VERIFY game files once more.
Also do a Windows Healt Check:Press Windows key + 'R' ,typ CMD
Press and hold down CTRL + SHIFT and press ENTER.
When User Account Control shows up, click Yes.
Use the following command lines, pressing Enter after each
(make sure you wait till each of the commands is executed properly):sfc /scannow
DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /CheckHealth
DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /ScanHealth
DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealthNow reboot system and test game
Here screenshot for the clear cmos !
