Crashing on death

I have been playing for a few days straight with no problem at all. Today it started crashing only upon death.  I tried deleting the cache folder, lowering the resolution, and running the game as administrator, but nothing fixed it.

Any solutions?

    Got exactly the same problem. It was OK on Tuesday but its unplayable today. From my analysis it seems it is somehow related to an AMD driver amdxc64.dll (got an update to Adrenalin 25.5.1 today and I believe its the cause).

    Specs:

    Win 10

    CPU: Intel i5-12600K

    GPU: AMD Radeon RX 6750 XT

    UPDATE: Downgraded from Adrenaline 25.5.1 to 25.3.1 and it seems issue has been resolved (died a dozen times and no crash). In order to downgrade i followed these steps:

    1. Open AMD Install Manager and disable Automatically keep AMD software up to date
    2. Go to https://www.amd.com/en/support/download/drivers.html
    3. In Search or Browse Drivers and Support by Product find you graphics card
    4. Hit Submit
    5. Hit Previous version
    6. Select your OS
    7. Download 25.3.1
    8. Install over the 25.5.1 (it should say downgrade at some stage). DO NOT do the restore. Ensure Automatically keep AMD software up to date is disabled
    9. Voila

    What is wrong with that old driver? Mostly older are just better then latest release. (Graphics card drivers only)

    updated to 25.6.3 clean install,
    Still crashing upon death

    Asus ROG 6700XT 
    Ryzen 5 7600

    It's really annoying that every time I die the, game freezes for a second and back to my wallpaper
    Please fix it already

    Currently on 25.6.1 and experienced this for a bit. I updated to 25.6.3 but same issue is happening. What is going on, has EA or AMD commented on this?

    Thank you so much! The new version has been giving me problems with Paradx games as well. Finally i know how to downgrade again.

    Latest driver (25.8.1) solved it for me with rx 6750 xt!

    Is 25.8.1 really the one that works? How long did you play? Im curious to update it for Beta of BF6 but also wanted to play BF2042 from time to time so I don't know if I should update drivers to 25.8.1 or are they faulty as well.

    I played it for like 2 hours straight. There was no crashes or freezes. Installed after cleaned previous drivers with DDU. From release notes 25.8.1 :

    **bleep** I must have missed that, when reading changelog of 25.8.1. Hats off for checking this out! Im gonna use DDU and install 25.8.1 Cheers!
