I understand you perfectly, it's exactly the same problem that I have, and I even uninstalled the game, reinstalled it, I also did the same with steam, I even connected the dualshock with the cable and nothing, Steam and the game recognize it but I go in to play and the controller does absolutely nothing
I think that this update brought a very serious error with the support for playstation controllers
I would like to know if it works well with xbox controllers, and will I have to buy one then because I have always liked battlefield, I have played it since bad company on PS3 and I accept that the latter is not the best of all, but I still enjoy it and having to abandon it so abruptly because it does not accept my controller seems regrettable to me
@rerfps4 yes it does work with xbox controllers it doesnt even need to use the steam BS it just works straight up no issues. i borrowed one just to test and i played with it for a month and then gave the controller back. i just couldnt get used to the controller when flying a jet so i abandon that idea.
