rollbacking drivers is not a solution, I should not have to switch to an older version just for this game, as normal games that work on the modern drivers would work less great on my machine.
my ea overlay was always off, and is the development team working on an actual fix or not? thanks

It often solves the problem but you can also try Restore driver settings via the Nvidia App.
