Hello, today I started receiving this error after updating Windows on the computer. BF2042 was working without any problems until yesterday. This error only appears when I try to open BF2042, BF4 and BF1 work without any problems. I deleted the nvidia application and drivers and reinstalled them, in the same way, I deleted and reinstalled BF2042, but I still get the same error. Do you have any solution suggestions?

Yes, I know this is a temporary solution. I will use it this way until a new windows update or nvidia driver update comes.
after change swap size bf2024 running once, but second same error again.
this thread still shows solved! but its not. perhaps removing the solved marker might let EA check the thread again ??
its not helping. so it isnt the solution. bf2042 still crashing back to desktop after a couple minutes.
Same crash but no errors after just crashes. Got in a few CQ64 games then boom. Kicked to desktop and froze , blackscreen of death where have had to hard reset pc , and I've seen the red error tab flash at the bottom of in game screens but ney lon enough to read it. Seems to be worse if I'm in with friends.
A few weeks ago every friend I play with started haveing different issues. About a month ago the lobby stopped showing players in my party just me standing there.
Tried fresh installation etc. no help so I'm here... It's the only game I play and looking for any things to try.
Unstable as crap.
Anyway, i just tried to disable all Windows defender, firewall and other security built in windows (I know... ).
Then I was able to play several maps conquest close quartes without problems. But crashed on redacted at once when that mapped loaded.
