Thanks for the effort but that's not really the definition of "fixed".
A creative workaround, that's for sure.
EA should fix this, not temporarily, not partially, not roughly.
The game we paid for should work!
EDIT:
I just installed the latest update for the graphics card (4070TI) that came out today and the game is working again (for now).
