Game continues to use 100% CPU since Season 3 update, now in Season 4

Hello everyone, and the problem after today's update is still not solved. It feels worse than it was. Thank you for something so professional you do not want to solve the problem.😮

    @EA_Leeuw Thanks for letting us know, but please know this is NOT the 100% CPU usage issue we are having, what you are referencing is a separate issue. I have rolled back drivers and still 100% CPU unless I push my resolution out to 6k - 8k which I then get around 90% usage but much lower framerates, it does however fix the delayed/continued inputs which is a side effect of 100% usage. Please give us a update on if the team are investigating this ? I cannot keep playing at 6k resolution, its a slide show!

    Is there a fix yet? Or will I not be able to play to level up the battlepass I paid for?

    @SkyIerMalia Just know, it's not a complete solution, just may make it bearable. Playing 32v32 is the only true fix, still super high CPU usage but the mode actually works and I get smooth gameplay.

    It seems that the Userr.cfg or Lasso for example doesnt work for a CPU with 8 cores !
    They locked the minimum cores for BF2042 to 8 , hardcoded. (season 4)

    Most important now , if ya want more performance ingame , then close as much as possible apps//prograMS BEFORE YA STARTUP bf2042.
    iN THIS CASE A CLEANBOOT IS THE BEST OPTION,

    If ya want even more , then check how to safely disable 26 windows services also <-- remember , some configurations need some of those services !
    Or try a very light/stripped windows install version <- with minimal options.

     What do the devs say about this? At the end of Season 3 it worked and it was playable, but now with Season 4 it is a disaster again.
    5600x and 3070ti 100% CPU with low GPU usage. On 125 servers with everything on low 80-100 fps and not even smooth.
    It´s really annoying.

    @DodgeZero They have gone silent on the issue and possibly even think it's fixed after they released patches last year improving the issue for some but it's back. I was DMing a dev on Twitter and while we had a conversation about it he wouldn't go as far as acknowledging it as a known issue or being investigated. He said he would talk to his colleagues.

    Lastly, I always thought 64p was okay, however now that conquest exodus is back (make it permanent!) I can see I'm 100% usage there too but it still plays ALOT better. But drops frame and inputs in very chaotic moment which it shouldn't using a RTX 4080.

    @ScottyDontNZ Great, so we can't really count on a solution?
    Yesterday I switched the Windows energy plan from Highest Performance to balanced (Ryzen 5600x) and experienced a slight improvement. Unfortunately the commands in the user.cfg don't change anything anymore. In some situations
    I also have a complete loss of input, which is new with season 4 and wasn't a problem before and yes I agree with you. DICE should at least leave the 64p mode in the game all the time, no idea why they keep removing it.
    Can you tell me what cpu are you using? I have the impression that it affects more AMD users.
