Game only runs in fullscreen on integrated graphics

I'm having this issue on a Lenovo Ideapad Gaming 3 if that helps at all. I recently bought the game on steam, and after launching the game, it started in windowed mode, but the settings said the game was in fullscreen mode (I also could not see or change the Device, Resolution, or Refresh Rate.)  I tried to switch it to border less, but that made no change. I tried hitting alt + enter, with no effect. I read online that the issue comes from having multiple GPU's so I tried disabling my integrated graphics in the device manager. This also did nothing. I then tried disabling my dedicated GPU and re enabling my integrated. After starting the game, it immediately started in fullscreen. I checked the settings, and they were all looking how they should. I loaded into a game, and proceeded to get 2 FPS even on the lowest graphics settings. I know this isn't right, but I'm not sure what else to try. Any help or questions are much appreciated!

  • Did you try to upgrade the drivers of the laptop, IGPU and Dedicated. Afterwards reinstall BF2042 again

Which Dedicated GPU does the laptop have ?

  • Did you find a solution to this problem? I cannot manage to make the game launch with the dedicated GPU, only with integrated graphics.

I tried accessing the BIOs but could only select UMA or switchable graphics, no option of just using dedicated graphics. thanks!

  • After Disabling the Dedicated GPU in the BIOS, and reinstalling the game, there is no change to the problem. I have a 3050ti as the dedicated GPU. No new solutions have arose, and all previous solutions found online are not working. I'll be refunding the game since it isn't playable.
