Game suddenly stopped launching

Hi!
I my game just suddenly stopped launching. It starts the tiny splash screen, closes but then just opens the EA app without starting the game or giving any error message at all. I've also noticed the EA app seem to have trouble connecting me as my account has a gray dot instead of the green dot that I assume it should have.

I've spent HOURS trying to fix this and is about to quit playing the game alltogether, this is my last shot at fixing this before uninstalling.

And yes, I have tried repairing, clearing cache, restarting, reintalling, rebooting etc. nothing works.
