Weird plane/helicopter issue in solo/coop

Update: It seems to do it across multiple maps and on all vehicles, even if I regularly spawn into the map and have the vehicles air-dropped in. It also appears that the camera is just "stuck", the vehicles move but the camera stays in the same place. If I switch positions in the vehicle its fine, but the second I switch to the driver/pilot position the camera switches to a 3rd person view and stays in the same place.

It's on every map and on PC too. Game is a joke

This is a known issue with solo/coop and there haven't been any fixes so far (this is the megathread about it: https://forums.ea.com/discussions/battlefield-2042-technical-issues-en/camera-broken-lis-rocket-vehicles-in-soloco-op/6948455).

I recommend building a Portal playlist for yourself if you want to play against AI without this happening. If you haven't done this before, here are some super quick steps.

• Head to https://portal.battlefield.com/experiences and log in with your EA Account.
• Select 'Create Something New'.
• Choose the mode and maps you'd like to play from the available options.
• When you get to the AI section in 'Modifiers', select the PVP AI option.
• You can now save and use the playlist in the Portal section of the game. 

I knew about Lis’ rocket issue, but had no idea it affected vehicles too :-/ If I setup a portal game, will it still allow me to get weapon upgrades? I’m trying to upgrade planes and heli’s right now.

Yeah it affects a few things, unfortunately. So long as you set the Portal playlist up with minimal changes you can still unlock upgrades for weapons and vehicles. They should work for Weely Missions too if they come back. Depending on what I want to unlock, I use a few different ones myself. 

If it saves you some hassle, the code for the one I made recently for unlocking attachments for the Draugr is ABSBWJ. It's just Conquest Large with the maps I remembered having air vehicles at the time, and the only change I made is setting it to PVP AI.
