I have the exact same problem. I join a match then after a couple minutes the game freezes and then closes, the Windows Event Viewer says:
EAAntiCheatService
The game bf2042.exe exited unexpectedly, exit code: 0xC0000005
I tried with a non overclocked configuration, as vanilla as possible, and I made sure that my antivirus had the BF2042 folder in the exclusions, but still can't play more than a couple mins. I also tried the below suggestions about repairing the game, reinstalling the older nVidia driver and repairing the EA Javelin anticheat but it is still doing it. Thermals of CPU/GPU are 60-70 just before the crash, and no WHEA errors. I am on Windows 11 24H2 (build 26100.4946).
