High TN on 128p

Hi, since the s3 update I no longer can play on 128p mode, everything is in slow motion, but 64p mode works fine. My ping is about 53ms but TN jump to +600ms after one minute playing. I'm pretty sure is related to the s3 update because it never happened to me before and I've change nothing on my config except that.

I've tried several things to fix it : lowered graphic settings, delete cache and PROFSAVE, repair the game, switch to EA windows app, check nvidia panel and firewall, update graphic driver, uninstall geforce, switch W10 to W11, disable Accelerated GPU Scheduling, try a debloater... but still no improvements

I've search on other post here and on google with the same issue but it seems that no fix has been provided yet. Is there something I can do?

@рокебо73 My laptop model is 2021 and I don't have this button, unfortunately.
Without this function, as I understand it, I will not get the desired result?

    Hi all,

For those of you who don't want to read the full story :

    1. Head into BIOS and look for XMP or Extreme Memory Performance

    2. If it's turned off, turn it on

    3. Start the game and you should see major improvement.

    4. Report back here to encourage other people to try same

For very long time, and I really mean awfully long time, I've been struggling with rubberbanding to the point that I was unable to play anything else other than vehicles and sniping, and even that was a challenge quite often. As soon as I got into the game, I would start seeing 3 rectangles in the top left corner and I would also observe very high TN(time nudge), which was often upwards of 200. I have literally tried every possible solution in the book(found here) and, believe it or not, the fix was caused by one simple setting in BIOS.

My Xmp( extreme memory performance) was turned off. For some reason, most of the time your Ram will not run at the factory speed, sometimes even at 50 percent! This is where xmp comes in handy, this will ensure that your ram runs at it's true speed.

Most people will try to suggest that the 3 rectangles refers to packet loss, which would indicate issues with your Internet connection, but that simply is not the case with me. I am playing the game on WiFi just like any other and now I see that Internet was not the issue at all.

If you're experiencing rubberbanding and high TN, then the issue is almost certainly on your end and you have to look into your hardware. Drivers updated, cpu or gpu not bottlenecking, sufficient ram, etc.

  • SOLVED  100%.

Ok, So after much pain and suffering i found this thread. I had extreme rubber banding that seemed intermittent and drove me nuts to the point that rage quitting was a common occurrance. Although the direct fix wasnt any of the things listed here, it did send me down the rabbit hole of checking my bios settings. I found that my RAM clock speed was set to 2666mhz as default motherboard detection. My RAM was actually 3200mhz. I removed my ram to check the cas timings and speed of the sticks i had installed.  I then went in to motherboard bios and  manually set them to match my RAM. Immediately the game became not only playable but buttery smooth with next to no rubber banding or lag to speak of. This was 100% the cause of my problem. Maybe, just maybe it is the cause of yours too? good luck out there gamers.

Shout out to @Antonov1403  - You opened my eyes to it being a hardware issue rather than software.
