How to add my child as a friend in the game?
My son plays on XBOX Series S. I play on PC. We are unable to add each other as friends. We can find each other but cannot add each other. After hours on the phone with EA I have learned that because of his age (10) and the fact his xbox profile is a child account EA automatically restricts them from adding friends. Even though his EA ID account is under my family profile and we use the same email addresses for both. The only work around I've found so far is to create a second xbox profile that is listed as an adult and have him switch profiles to play with me. However, this totally defeats the purpose of parental controls in the first place and I cannot monitor the screen time.
If there is no legitimate work around this is a huge FLAW in EA/Origins design.
