I have purchased Battlefield 2042 PS5 Standard edition Physical copy. But not able to play the game. Whenever i insert the CD to play it directs me to Playstation Play subscription. My question can't we play the game with the Standard Edition of PS5 & to play should we buy the Subscription. Please if anyone can assist on this would appreciate. Thank you.
Hi @i96rlejmt3yz Since this is an online game you would need the subscription which let's you play multiplayer.

Community Manager@i96rlejmt3yz I have the same issue I will never ever buy any of there products . I will lose my money but the hell with them they can’t sell an item and force people to buy a subscription . I will be sure not to buy there products will have it posted all over the social media
