On PC this problem can be fixed by procedure:
- Switch to borderless mode
- Click on any running app on your PC
- Reconnect headphones
- Back to the game in borderless mode
- If no success, try 1-4 to moment when a game won't change sound settings.
It's a very annoying thing.
I am gamedev, I don't know if i am right but i feel like the surround sound is based of the pelvis of the character and not to the camera, it is why when we are in 3rd person view in vehicles the location of sounds are not accurate.
And when we are in first person view sometimes the camera is not facing to the same direction to the pelvis.
The surround MUST be based of the camera and not the pelvis.
