Increasing RAM usage after every game

This is happening to me every time I start BF2042. First game RAM usage is at 7-8GB. Second game 8-10GB. Third game 10-12GB. Fourth game 12-16GB. Anything after the fourth game is 16GB which is max for my system. FPS drops drastically once at 16GB which isn’t surprising. Only thing that works in reloading BF2042 and same thing happens after game four. Why is this? Anyone having the same issue? Any workarounds for this?

    @pillow4444 It's a memory leak and I hope it will be patched on the 19th, otherwise there will be no joy for a lot of people. The only thing you can do is try to tab out of the game between rounds and see if that dumps the ram block, or like you said, restart the game. There are other methods to clear the ram space, but I won't post them here.

    64gb and the game consumed it all ~60gb and crashed. Who is responsible for this? Can someone please send me a voucher to download more ram?

    @pillow4444 What i see in the task maneger is by starting BF 2042 a use of about 2900 Mb and evering 2 a 3 sec it will give 500 till 800 Kb more of memory use

    Thanks for the reply! Wasn’t sure if it was my hardware/software or BF2042. Hopefully I see this go away on the 19th. Thanks again!

    i dont have this issue in 2042 but not sure if it was bf1 or bfv but alot of peolpe were having the issue and had to restart the game between each round to fix the issue until it was fixed

    I purchased a computer one month ago. I’ve played BF5 Rainbow Six for the last month lo problem. Fast forward to today. While playing bf2042 my computer crashed. Check the event viewer saw it occurred after a bug check. I did a windows memory diagnostic scan and it’s telling me there is a hardware problem. So I’ve got more tests to run but I find it odd that I know how a memory Issue after a month of having a brand new computer. Could it be coincidence, possibly but I find it unlikely.

    @pillow4444 This might be what I'm experiencing. In my first games i always have around 70-80 FPS but as longer I play the less FPS and more stutters I get. Yesterday I started around d 70-80 but after 4-5 rounds i was down to 40-50 FPS ☹️ I do use ISLC But it seams like that doesn't even help then.

    @dogdrivingacar I checked my ram usage as I was getting constant lag spikes etc. it was using 20 gig with of ram. Now I’m getting an error when I do my memory check with my ram.

    @Tronald0_78 Having to restart the game between rounds is definitely a memory leak and which is why people are crashing to desktop, blue screens, and I suspect also the cause of lag, rubber banding, stuttering as the CPU runs at 100% and can't reclaim that memory space. BF4 had a really nasty memory leak and the results were the same.

    My copy of Battlefield 2042 crashes after consuming 16gb of ram? That's the maximum amount of ram I have in my system. I've never seen any game consume that much memory and as far as I know I'm not the only one seeing this bug. Dice please look into this and fix.

    My PC specs are 

    Ryzen 3700x

    16gb Corsair vengeance RGB pro ram @@3200mhz

    Rtx 2060 msi gaming z 6gb vram.

    Asus ROG strix b450f gaming mobo
