Basically, I think the implementation of Secure Boot is a huge mistake by the game's development team. We, the users, can't be expected to risk our equipment so that BF2042 can work.
I have a relatively new machine running Windows 10, an MSI B-460M-A PRO motherboard, with the BIOS updated to the latest version, UEFI, and TM 2.0 OK. However, when I enable Secure Boot, Windows doesn't boot directly.
There are plenty of other games on offer. It's a shame to ruin this series, which I've been playing for a little over 20 years without cheats or tricks, because of the laziness of a computer that didn't put any effort into BFV.
Greetings!
