please reply to this asap I would really like to play the games I payed for
I am also having this issue. I recently repurchased the game after having performance issues after its initial launch, but now it keeps disconnecting me from games. I have followed both basic and advanced troubleshooting and it still has not solved the issue.
same problem with me on pc and this for 15 days before no worries , FAI : free

Hey Mr EA man,
i cant even play 5 minutes in any match without being disconnected, so switch up to battlefield four and everything works perfectly fine, so it’s not my Internet or my ISP or anything on my end it’s the game and the game Files.
I have the same issue. The links you shared are pointless. I can play any other game online on my xbox, also my box is wired using LAN.
I work in Cybersecurity field and this is not ISP issue. This is you crappy code and or infra. Get an actual engineer in this chat to fix the damm issue. Review any logs you guys are using to get this fixed.- EA_Leeuw3 years ago

Hey @SharkyShizzle,
It is not possible to bypass the EA app if you have bought an EA game via Steam. There are only a handful of exceptions that can do this, 2042 is not one of those.
Have you checked if your Firewall is maybe blocking something? I'm running Windows Defender...it has not been a problem at all in the 250+ hours i've played this game before. The EA app is booting my internet connection.Tell me how to switch this to stand alone or run through steam. CODMW2 is looking really good right now.

@SharkyShizzle, unfortunately running a Speedtest has nothing to do with the quality of your internet or if your PC, modem or router is blocking the game or the EA app from connecting to their servers. A Speedtest only measures the bandwidth between two very specific points, via a website, which is different than actual real-world scenarios.
I can now also see that the EA app displays that you are offline. So it it not only the game itself where you are experiencing this issue with, but also the EA app?
May I ask what kind of Antivirues you have installed on your PC? OK, I've done everything in the help files as I've said before. The attached file is a pic of my screen right now...speedtest 477/23. Notice the EA app and my status as no connection. Your app is broken, your library of games is broken. I'm running speediest again and again but I'm not connected according to the app...
