    Try validating your game files on steam. I had the same issue and when I checked mine I was missing 4 of the files from update 3 about 6 mb. That seemed to fix it for me

the same issue, in addition to the game crashing for no reason with no error. Repairs and re-installs do nothing to fix. Can't even play the game so it's a cool digital paperweight........great game. Guess i'll go play my ps5 for a few months
