Solved

[PC] DirectX function GetDeviceRemovedReason failed with dxgi_error_device_hung

Typically crashes within 5-10 mins of being in a game, about every 9 out of 10 crashes is bails to desktop, no error message, but once in awhile get the DirectX message.
AMD Ryzen 7 7700X, ASUS B650 Mobo (though I do NOT have ASUS Armoury Crate installed), RTX 3080Ti, 32GB of DDR5

Things I've tried:

-Restarting my computer

-Updating my GPU Drivers

-Repaired the game, MANY times

-Reinstalled the game, several times

-Disabling DLSS in-game

-Setting terrain detail to 'high' instead of 'ultra'

-Using the 'studio' Nvidia drivers instead of game drivers
-Installing/repairing all the recommended VC redists (11, 12, & 14)
-Manually set PCI bus settings to Gen4 in Bios
-Windows repair tools:

   sfc /scannow
   DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /CheckHealth
   DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /ScanHealth
   DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth

   *No corruption detected*
-Added TdrLevel DWORD with a value of 0 to the GraphicsDrivers entry in Windows Registry
Cpu and memory are at factory settings, (no overclock)
-GeForce Experience In-game overlay is disabled

For a couple months, I was able to play for a few hours at a time without issue - but suddenly crashing every game now - just started over this past weekend.

    *update

On a whim, I disabled the onboard ATI graphics on my ASUS B650 Pro mobo in the BIOS - so far - SUCCESS!
Was able to play for about an hour with no crash, but still nervous it will come back.
