Persistent game stuttering - solid high fps and low pings

Yes cpu is spiking but it could just be DX12 shader compilation stutter since you just reinstalled everything. I would play through a few maps and see if the cpu spikes quite down. The stutters should be far less playing on a map the second time. Since most of the shaders have been compiled and cached to SSD the first time you play through a map.

Another thing you can do is put Battlefield 2042 in windows mode (alt + enter). Then bring up task manager (alt + ctrl + del) and set it to 'always be on top'. Monitor CPU usage and see if any cpu cores max out.

Hopefully it's just DX12 shader compile stutter and clears up after playing maps a second time. All the shaders need to be recompiled after every game patch and graphics driver update. So everything can be playing fine, then the graphics drivers get updated or a game patch comes out and all the DX12 shaders need to be recompiled again in the middle of gameplay. Such a bad design.
