In case of my mouse (Corsair Ironclaw RGB Wireless) it's most noticeable on highest setting of 1000Hz (1ms) as it also happens on 500Hz (2ms). It gets tolerable on 250Hz (4ms).How often does the bug occur? Often (50% - 99%)Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? 1. Get mouse with adjustable poll rate (in my case Corsair Ironclaw RGB Wireless connected to PC with wired connection) 2. Set highest polling rate (in my instance 1000Hz / 1ms) 3. Play any online game mode for at least 5 minutes 4. Make few quick mouse movements 5. ObserveWhat happens when the bug occurs? In every game after few minutes of gameplay while doing sudden large (usually quick 90+degree rotation of character) rotations cause mouse to lag out and perform the action with 1-2 second delay. The more the game lasts the more often it happensWhat should be happening instead? There should be no lag caused by high polling rate like it is with polling rate set to 250Hz (4ms) or lower.This issue was not a thing before latest patch (2.1.1) and was previously fixed but I'm not sure of what patch number was that. It appears to be the exact same issue with same input delay and it has same work-around.

@EA_Atic I tracked my mouse activity while the issue was occurring as I suspected my mouse was being automatically flipped between the game and my desktop in an almost flurry of alt+tab like functions being performed by either the BF2042 client or Easy Anti-Cheat. The reason for this suspicion was I happened to be clicking mouse1 to fire while it happened and my game minimized instantly.So I set OBS to record my desktop while BF2042 was running and every 53 - 56 seconds, something in either BF2042 or Easy anti-cheat (I suspect BF2042 b/c it doesn't happen with Apex Legends) causes my PC to rapidly swap my PC input focus between my desktop and BF2042.

@SirRevolvercan confirm, I'm using a Logitech G502, 1000Hz cannot play at all the mouse hovers by itself, it gets better as a i reduce to 250Hz abit less noticeable, 125Hz is the most playable. I had to stay from 1000Hz or 500Hz

@SirRevolvercan confirm, I'm using a Logitech G502, 1000Hz cannot play at all the mouse hovers by itself, it gets better as a i reduce to 250Hz abit less noticeable, 125Hz is the most playable. I had to stay from 1000Hz or 500Hz

Same problem for me. Turning off future frame rendering in the game settings has minimised the problem enough to play with my mouse at 500Hz polling frequency. Haven't tried increasing back 1kHz yet. Will post back once I've tried that.

@SirRevolver this is 100% true its so ridiculous and dumb. Also turning uniform soldier aim helps. make sure you put in the correct value for your resolution though

I didn't get what happened for the last days ingame but feeled that my mouse was going wrong... Looking in the forum you just opened my eyes !
Tried to lower my pooling rate and i could feel the difference.
Logitec G302 here, same problem.

@SirRevolver try enabling raw input in the mouse game settings. G502 Hero, never had a similar problem.

I have raw input enabled. I also tried disabling it and playing with Nvidia Reflex. With both disabled it happens even more often than both enabled but in my case having raw input does not make the issue disappear.
Still as of right now the best thing to do for me is to keep polling rate below 500.

Oh wow, ive been thinking this issue was actually caused by iCUE (As it has been in the past).
I have a very similar setup to OP
Its hard to record this happening, because you obviously need to see mouse movement as well... but I did find this old post (granted its BFV) where what the user is demonstrating is exactly what I am seeing happen in BF2042:

I have the same problem and this is stressing me too much, I had tested everything before to know what was happening to make my aim so strange, and that's it, the polling rate I believe the game only has support up to 250hz something higher will leave your weird aim, in full 2023 where we already have 8khz mice we are being barred to 250hz by a bad line of code.
