Hey @EA_Rtas dxdiag wont show anything important, since lots of people seem to have that problem either with tencents bs or windows defender and in combination with tencents anticheat"expert" @DotaYoda i have a non activated windowsbuild ready from a couple weeks back that has blocked ALL of defender updates and has never seen Tencent stuff, it will be finished in a bit. i will keep you updated, but my guess is that either defender in combination with "anticheatexpert" or just "anticheatexpert" deletetion will brake stuff. But i dont know why BF V and all others work with no problem so far. anyway gotta go sleep while downloading.

FRESH NVME, "OLD" Windows Build (OCT 2024), never seen anything before i put it in. yet it wont launch.

there has to be a EA AC error.

@KRASSSERGAMER   Run ea app or ea ac installation as an administrator.

ps make sure ya deleted all ea ac folders and files first (also the hidden ones)

C:\Users\YOUR_USERNAME\AppData\Roaming\EAAntiCheat.Installer.Tool

C:\Users\YOUR_USERNAME\AppData\Roaming\EasyAntiCheat

C:\Users\YOUR_USERNAME\AppData\Roaming\EA\AC

Deleta ALL content or even the folders mentioned above here

C:\ProgramData\eaanticheat

C:\Program Files\EA

C:\Program Files\EA Games\Battlefield 2042\EAAntiCheat

Delete the content of ALL those folders

ya could also delete those files at :
C:\Program Files\EA Games\Battlefield 2042  <<<--- (this is standard install location, can be differentr at your system!)

EAAntiCheat.cfg

EAAntiCheat.GameServiceLauncher.dll

EAAntiCheat.GameServiceLauncher.exe

EAAntiCheat.splash.png

Now make sure ya dont boot EA APP/STEAM during boot windows !!!!!!
Reboot system
Start up  ea app/steam AS AN ADMINISTRATOR.
Now repair/verify game files.

Test game and keep us uptodate please.

@Rokebo73 did not work sadly.

service: EAAntiCheatService gets stuck on "launching" after splash screen gives error (7) 🏈, security violation pops up (30) and service will shut down.

in roaming service gets deleted but Cache and Installer remain, sadly no crash dumps there under programdata/eaanticheat/crashdumps

i added the Backgroundservice log maybe u can see something in that.

Hide all Microsoft services, DISABLE (uncheck) ALL other processes, apps and services !

I suggest doing a clean boot first to isolate and identify the application that is causing the issue.

A “clean boot” starts Windows with a minimal set of drivers and startup programs so that you can determine whether a background program is interfering with your game or program.

- In the search box on the taskbar, type msconfig and select System Configuration from the results.

- On the Services tab of System Configuration, select Hide all Microsoft services, and then select Disable all.

- On the Startup tab of System Configuration, select Open Task Manager.

- Under Startup in Task Manager, for each startup item, select the item and then select Disable.

- Close Task Manager.

- On the Startup tab of System Configuration, select OK. When you restart the computer, it's in a clean boot environment.

Ps dont deactivate ea app background process and the EA AC process, else game will not launch at all.

Just test game. if it works then we need to check for other software that is tricking this issue.
Follow the instruction, do not exclude any process, otherwise its harder to find the cullprit !

Press Wndows key + R, now typ CMD , hold down CTRL+SHIFT button and press ENTER.
In the UAC windows select YES.
Now enter this command

tasklist>C:\serviceslist.txt

At youre C: drive is now a file, serviceslist.txt , post this file please !

back to Battlefield V... where the AC is starting and i get no errors whatsoever

I have the same error and its effecting all my ea games with anticheat. I work as a support tech and have wiped my os and still get the same error. This is def an issue with the anti cheat app. Nothing short of a new version of the app will fix this,

They are not motivated to fix the issue. I have written forum posts, talked to help.ea.com chat and filled out the survey on this site and the EA help site, yet have not received a single response through email etc from a dev saying they are looking into it. without a bigger platform, they will just chalk it up to a loss and ignore the issue.

excerpt from my discussion with help.ea.com chat -

"I have checked the details with my team and This is something which might be a bug which we need to report to them. You are playing this game for so long and this issue can certainly put a question on us. I will surely pass this case and issue to the concerned game team for further investigation upon it. We appreciate you letting us know about it I am going to document this right away."

after that talk, they immediately marked my case as "fixed" lol

maybe a bug report would help, but I don't think there is any intent to fix this issue. it does not affect enough people for them to care. best case scenario would be that a future EA AntiCheat, or Windows update solves the issue accidentally hahaha. it is likely expensive to constantly update years of game catalogue to run smoothly with every windows update or hardware release

Ok so crazy issue and crazier solution. I have a fanatec CSL DD 8nm. I upgraded the firmware to the latest and the driver to 464. Just before the issues started a week or so back. So Turning it off doesn't fix the issue but if I plug it out or change it to orange mode and restart the eacheat service (sometimes I have to kill it with pskill as its stick starting) it will run. So something in the CSL DD either driver or firmware when in red mode is causing the anti cheat to trigger. Moral of the story unplug all your usb ports and try it with just a mouse and see if its a usb issue.

@KRASSSERGAMER Have you tried adding a new administrative user account in Windows?

1) Add a user account: (choose option C 'Add a user without a Microsoft account')

2) Configure a user as an administrator after you create the new user account:

3) Log into the new user account and try to play Battlefield 2042.

For me its a hardware issue with my fanatec wheel base. Once I change it to Orange the problem went away.Shouldn't have an effect on anything else so I'll leave it and consider it fixed for now. Its nothing to do with Software, I wiped and installed windows on a fresh machine with only ea app and the game and the error was still there. EA need to update their anti cheat it has so many issues. After dealing with their support or lack of I will never buy an ea game again. Basically you contact support to be told forum sugusstions from users and when they don't work your call is closed no fix and your told to post in the forums. My god I've never heard the likes of it. I have hundreds maybe even thousands spent on EA games, they won't get a penny off me again. Maybe on console but never for pc.
