Scuff Envision Pro Not Working On FB2042

Team, my Scuff Envision Pro for PC is not working with BF2042. I have the game downloaded through steam. I use Ready or Not, Delta Force and other games on steam with this same controller and it works great. However, BF2042 will not let me use it. It doesn't even recognize it. I am forced to use mouse and keyboard which impacts my ability to enjoy the game. It was working 2 weeks ago the first time I played the game. Took a work trip and came back to play and it no dice. No settings have been changed. I verified the controller works with other games. I tried running it as admin. I have tried overlay on, but game wont load so I turned it off in the EA app and the game loads fine, but no controller access. I verified my drivers. Uninstalled Steam, EA application and BF2042 and it still doesn't work. I was able to use to use the controller with BF6 Beta the last two weekends it was up. Please help.
