This was never happening in the past since my device upgrade2. I have tried the newest and a few older Nvidia video drivers3. I have repaired and reinstalled the game with the same resultsAdditionally: since the latest update I have also run in to an issue in 2 matches where my frames drop from 90fsp to 20fps for the duration of the match

Delete all bf2042 folders in -> appdata /local and in appdata/roaming (is a hidden file)Also empty cache folder in documents/bf2042/cache Then in origin is a folder with nam -> localcontent (delete all in this foider. Stuttering and random frame drops

It seems to be happening every 5 sec, this is the same setup I was playing the game with before the update with no issue

CPU: Ryzen 5 3600
Ram: 32gb 3200Mhz
GPU: 3060 it
OS: Windows 10
I have attempted to reinstall and repair the game, with no success.
My Packets and network seem to be passing traffic fine

Can you check how much GPU VRAM is used when you play? Stuttering and frame drops can also occur when VRAM usage is too high.

Hey @Rokebo73, haven't cleared any of my local or roaming files yet I will get that a shot.
As for the cash and local content did and done.
My video card cooling is working great and plenty of VRam to pass around

@EA_Atic Yes this started happening after the latest patch 1.1, I know that some stuttering was expected with the new shader caching system but that should have gone away after a match on a map.
All things I have done to solve the issue:
- deleted the cache in documents
- repaired the game
- reinstalled the game
- reinstall older Nvidia drivers
- reinstalled the latest Nvidia driver
- Restarted my device
- Enabled and Disabled window game mode
- I tried several display settings configurations in-game
- reinstalled the game
- restarted my network

Seems to be happening in all games every 5 seconds, I lose about 3 to 5 frames (which gets me killed a lot)

Hi @Over2Take, Can you enable PerfOverlay.DrawGraph 1 in the in-game console and do a video with that setting on.
