Unable to connect at all to BF2042

currently cant access BF2042 try to load the game up, after waiting 3 to 5 minutes there is a failure on EAs side. i have verified files cleared download cache and uninstalled and reinstalled. any so...

    i got it it was the crappy EA overlay. just had to turn it off thanks

I can now log in, but can't find a game at all.
Tried like 10 times, and normally I have no problems at all.
