Unable to connect to the EA servers

I haven't played Battlefield 2042 on my PS5 since its launch due to obvious reasons but not I have come back to the game and encountering an error when opening the game.

Error is Unable to connect to EA servers. Please check your Internet Connection, make sure the Platform Client is online and try again.

Error code is 1:468882297O:1502I:468882297O:0B

Spoke with EA Help and went through all the normal troubleshooting steps (most of them I already went through with Playstation Support):

Still had the error after this and was advised to make a post on here so it can be investigated. Seems silly that it can't be escalated through them but I thought I'd give it a try.

Case ID is 106192196

Again all troubleshooting steps have been done. Internet connection is all fine. I can play Apex Legends and FIFA 2022 on my PS5 with no issue and both of them are EA games.

Dunno what else I can do. They said my account is all fine. Did also try a mobile hotspot (not the best internet connection) but had the same issue on this.

    @EA_Atic Not aware of any blockers on the account. Never been banned or suspended and I can still go online.

    Turned off my 2FA, restarted the console, logged out and back in of PSN. Still getting the same error. Did the normal test on Apex and that let me log in.

    Hi @Puregravy, while my teams are investigating can you reach out to PlayStation support to make sure everything is okay with your PSN account.

    @EA_Atic Spoke with PS Support about my account and couldn't see any issues with my account. It's never been banned or banned from a game.

    Hi @Puregravy, some of our teams are still investigating the issue, some of the network teams has come back saying they cant find any issues with you aka everything looks good. But wating for some answers back from a few other teams still but can take some time.
