Thank you for the updates, everyone.
Can we try changing the DNS on your system to see if that makes any difference? I've seen cases in that past where that can help with similar issues, so I'd like to see if it helps here as well.
If you're on PlayStation 4 you can update the DNS using the steps below:
Spoiler- Open the PS4 Settings and go to Network
- Select Set Up Internet Connection
- Choose Wi-Fi or LAN Cable depending on how your console is connected to the internet
- Select Custom
- Choose Automatic under IP Address Settings
- Choose Do Not Specify under DHCP Host Name
- Select Manual under DNS Settings
- Enter 8.8.8.8 as the Primary DNS and 8.8.4.4 as the Secondary DNS. This is the public Google DNS, but I’ve also seen some people mention that using the public Cloudflare DNS has helped (Primary DNS: 1.1.1.1).
- Select Next
- Choose Automatic under MTU Settings
- Select Do Not Use under Proxy Server
- Select Test Internet Connection to confirm the changes and make sure you can connect.
If you're playing on PS5 you can change the DNS with the following steps:
Spoiler1. Open your PS5 Settings
2. Select Network
3. Select Settings
4. Select Set Up Internet Connection
5. Choose Set Up Manually
6. Choose WiFi or LAN Cable depending on which type of connection you're using
7. Select DNS
8. Set 8.8.8.8 as the Primary DNS and 8.8.4.4 as the Secondary DNS. I've also seen a few people mention that the public Cloudflare DNS can help (Primary DNS: 1.1.1.1).
9. Select Done
If you play on Xbox you can update the DNS using the steps below:
Spoiler1. Open your Xbox Settings
2. Select General
3. Select Network Settings
4. Select Advanced Settings
5. Select DNS Settings
6. Choose Manual
7. Enter 8.8.8.8 as the Primary DNS and 8.8.4.4 as the Secondary DNS. I've also seen a few people mention that the public Cloudflare DNS can help (Primary DNS: 1.1.1.1)
8. Save the settings changes
If you're on PC you can update your DNS through the Windows TCP/IP Settings. Choosing the Manual option will then let you enter a DNS of your choosing. You can find more info on how to get there at the Microsoft Support website. I usually recommend going with the public Google DNS (Primary DNS: 8.8.8.8; Secondary DNS: 8.8.4.4), but some people have mentioned that using the public Cloudflare DNS can also help (primary DNS: 1.1.1.1)
Let me know if you're still running into the same issues after that. Thanks!
@EA_Kent Hey thanks for the possible solution, but unfortunately I have already tried changing my default DNS to Google's 8.8.8.8 8.8.4.4 without fixing the problem.

Gotcha. thanks.
There is something I was hoping to confirm with everyone. Are you only running into this issue when you're trying to join a game with friends, or do you have the same issue when you're playing solo?
- @EA_Kent So i noticed something. I have the bug that i cant join a new match after ive been in 1.
But now i think i found origin to be problem. I Own it on steam.
But when i launch from steam origin would bug out, so i had to run it in admin mode. Then i would get a warning of running in compatability mode on origin. But works 1 match then i needed to restart. But somehow this time i launched bf i didnt get the compatability mode message and now it has worked for 3 matches in a row. I did not change anything so im not sure what fixed it. And also it might come back after i quit game For the few matches that I've played, I was able to join friends with no issues.
Always solo, never played with friends.

@EA_Kent I'm having the same problem, generally it happens when I attempt to play in a squad with my friends, seems to happen more often if my roommate is in the squad. Almost never happens when starting a match on my own.
Somehow the game worked fine for me yesterday, and went back to having this issue. I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling the anti cheat, running in admin, doing the DNS settings (which never worked) restarting internet, restarting computer, and it's back to not working at all. Can't pinpoint what the issue is but I can't play a single battlefield game.
- @JulebrusAIM It dont work again now. But atleast it might have been origin with steam that there is something wrong with. I cant seem to disable the in game overlay for origin also? Not sure if that is intended
- @EA_Kent Is there any word on this? I see a new thread popping up every day about this for PC, XBOX, and PS. I'm still unable to play - hoping to at least hear that this issue is being recognized and worked on.
