Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Fly a Helicopter in PS5 ... you move the right stick vertically, or pitch, about 30% before the helicopter responds
What happens when the bug occurs? When flying any heli, you have to move the right stick vertically (pitch) about 30% before there is any effect on the helicopter. This makes it near impossible to draw a bead on a target, esp when in cockpit view, zoomed. Once the helicopter starts responding, you then overcompensate and your vertical movement is far greater than anticipated.
What should be happening instead? there should not be 30% stick movement before the heli reacts... should track with stick movement properly
I am playing on PS 5 and am experiencing a severe vertical pitch DEADZONE issue when flying helicopters. I have to move my right stick vertically about 30% or more before the helicopter pitches, making it near impossible to draw a bead on a target because you end up overcompensating on the stick input. I have not noticed this problem with on foot, or with other vehicles. I have tried to make adjustments on the controller tuning, to no avail.
I found the fix to the deadzone issue... hard to believe someone else didn't experience/fix this until now:
