What is Error Code 1:4688822970:-4685921B - A cry for help...

Hi team, I have a problem where i am receiving Error Code 1:4688822970:-4685921B about 5-10 mins into game.  I have even done a complete system reinstall and it did not help. I have seen some people say it is anti cheat related but still have not seen an official answer what this error is. Several cannot play the game because of this issue and i would really appreciate some help here.  

Here is what i have tried so far: 

All options on the EA help page for reconnecting. 

Countless forum searches which lead me to using different DNS settings

using a hotspot 

Multiple game reinstalls / repairs 

windows reset - got rid of every app except Xbox / EA and BF2042

firewall settings both windows and ATT 

translating Russian forums on here to see what they did - going through the dns flush settings through ipconfig etc.

    Have you tried unticking the IPv6 box and restarting the PC?

    Hi Team - Bumping this - would appreciate any help :)   -  also trying to get visibility on what triggers this code - all i get from EA chat is "connection error" lol no kidding sherlock

    I have tried ethernet connection - but it is a router / modem combo   ATT is my ISP -   AT&T - i have also tried UPNP -  i tried a hotspot too so that is a totally different connection. this leads me to believe that it is more of a system issue rather than internet

    Perhaps it's a home router issue. Have you tried enabling Universal Plug and Play (UPnP) if the router has that option?

    Or giving the gaming PC a static IP address in router settings and assigning the static IP to the Demilitarized Zone (DMZ) if the router has that option?

    I wouldn't keep the gaming PC in DMZ since the router's firewall will no longer be protecting it, but I'd try it for testing purposes to see if it stops Battlefield from disconnecting.

    An even simpler test would be connecting the gaming PC directly to the internet modem. This will only work if the router and internet modem are two separate devices. Then reboot the internet modem.

    What is ATT you mentioned in your original post?

    Yes. And giving both the game and ea anti cheat admin privileges. And the EA app. Also found out you can launch the game by running the ea anti cheat exe.

    Have you tried launching the EA App as an administrator by right clicking on the EA App desktop icon?

    Absolutely!  Here ya go   I was looking in the event viewer as well and saw this (also in the dxdiag)
