Xbox series X can't connect to the EA servers Error: 1:4688822970:100J:1004G

I pre ordered the Battle filed 2042 gold edition, for xbox series x via the Microsoft store. This includes the early access on launch day.

But when I load the game it can't connect to the EA servers

Error: 1:4688822970:100J:1004G

I also have Xbox game pass, which should also give me early access

I have tried everything:

- restarting the game
- restarting the console (including pulling the power)
- Disconnecting and reconnecting the console to wifi

- Resetting router

- Disconnecting the router the direct fibre line comes in on
- uninstalling and reinstalling the game and add on packages

I don't know what else to try.

I'm so annoyed, so far it just feel like I've just wasted £80+

I can't find any useful information on online, sites or forums, on how to solve this issue.

No one else I know seems to be having this problem

    I worked out how to resolve it.

    It seems EA’s servers didn’t like the public IP my ISP had issued me.

    Fortunately im not on a fixed IP, so if i turn off the router and disconnect the data cable for 10 - 15 mins, when reconnected it and powered back up it’s issued with a new public IP address.

    This resolved the issue for me

    Same here.

    Have tried every single recommendation out there including all of EA's recommendations and nope... ain't working..

    Even brought my computer to my friend's house (different network) where it works on his PC and nope... ain't working.

    I give up.

    Got refunded.

    Sticking to previous BFs for now until they fix their crap. What a failed released...

    Connection to 2042 is buggy - ea error code 1:4688822870:2003l

    I can play for hours without an issue
    If I re-start my Xbox Series X, it will not connect

    Xbox networking says there are no problems
    Wired connection with fixed IP
    750mb down - 10mb up
    NAT type is open

    I can connect and play Vanguard and other games without any problems
    Go back to 2042 and get the same error multiple times - error code 1:4688822870:2003l

    The reason I restart my Xbox is because 2042 does not unlock attachments sometimes

    Even though the number of kills has been obtained to unlock an attachment
    The game will show 8 of 8 attachments, but when you go to load one, 2 of the 8 still have locks on them
    Re-starting and going back into the game, the attachments are now unlocked

    Experiencing the same issue here. EA has offered little help, no refund, and claimed it's a network error with my network. Every other game (including other EA games and Battlefields) work fine.

    Can you explain what "fixed Ip" ? New public address?

    Is this beyond our control?

    Error code 1:4688822970:1502I:-4270168010:0B I can't pay battle field 2042 I get an error code on every start up. How can I fix this.
