glint was introduced in BF3 IIRC but it's horrible in the current state for BF6. I imagine they'll get some kit stuff to decrease it. Some glints stood out much more than others. I wonder if the scope distance being greater caused a stronger glint. some glints looked prismatic with the ROYGBIV touch.
The RPG had a projectile drop to it :D lol
If the glint has an almost 'rainbow' effect to it, it means that sniper can OHK you at the current range to the chest or head. Maybe thats what you mean?
