  • sadly true. They can turn the whole game around.

I also think a lot of players do not know it is not part of the game. They just folow the others,

It is part of the game... you will have operators with ladders.. there are placed things on roofs by the devs to help you jump between buildings... they are not unkillable and you can check it out by yourself specially that you can acces them from all over the map...

people complaining sound like they did not play other bf games and came likley from cs or cod where you have one or two fields of gameplay on the same hight lvl... I don't need to climb onto a building to destroy others on the roofs i can use building destruction/rpg/sniper rifle/vehicle/grenade/grenade launcher/LMG to make them regret camping :)

The only way they will stop the roofs is by putting return to map or you'll die on height limit or they will just leave it and add some ladders on the map as its alot of work to try and put height limit on maps so more than likely they will just do quick fix and put ladders on all the maps so it let's everyone get to high place as they know people will just find other ways to get up on higher places above or just below the high limit on maps.

This needs to be fixed before release or honestly I'll be just refunding my purchase of the game. It ruins the entire game and ALL maps with rooftops have this issue. In this week's beta I already had MULTIPLE MATCHES with MULTIPLE SQUADS abusing this exploit on New York, Gibraltar, Cairo and Tajikistan (similar exploit but in the mountain range there are unkillable spots squads can take and dominate the entire map from)

So some kind of permanent solution needs to be implemented across ALL maps in BF6 before release or the entire multiplayer experience is going to be ruined by people abusing this exploit across all maps. I don't understand why the game doesn't just have combat zone. Like they know the maximum range across the map where people are allowed to go, that's the combat zone and anything outside of that should be out of combat zone for infantry, it surely is not that hard to just add an out of combat buffer zone on Tajikistan mountain range (note: just over climbable areas of the mountains as you don't want the air to be out of combat for people who jump out of helos and jets)

And on all the city maps where you don't even have flying vehicles it is simply, everything above the second floor is just out of combat then even if people find new exploit spots it won't matter as even if you find new routes up (Cairo people have already found well over 20 different routes to the rooftops! and New York and Gibraltar both too!!!) so EA can't just fix each route as there are far too many instead everything above second floor just needs to be out of combat zone so while players can then temporarily climb it as a quick sneaky detour which honestly is fine, they can't camp the rooftops and break the entire map balance

But again if this is not fixed in a permanent manner for all maps then I'll just be outright refunding at launch as I can already see what's going to happen down the line if nothing is done about this exploit at launch across all maps in a permanent non-bypassable manner
