100% agree. I am mostly a tanker. My squads are armor squads which support infantry. This type of game play appears to be going by the way side. As a tanker, we support breaking through bottlenecks and heavily defended areas. After playing the beta most of us are on the fence about purchasing the game. The 3rd person view is so convoluted that it became obvious that EA was leaning towards COD style game play. The overly congested and narrow streets made driving armor next to impossible. With main battle tanks having a top speed of what felt like 7mph, we were creeping through the rubble while watching infantry run passed us. Unwhelming firepower combined with difficult targeting, was absolutely unrealistic. The maps offered in the beta were so tiny and confined that the gameplay was stifling at best. Now don't get me wrong, i loved the graphics, The destruction etc but the armor was sad at best. I was in a IFV and shot a whole magazine hitting within a foot or two of an infantryman only to watch him run off. I am a topnotch tanker in bf4 be my guest and come visit on bZ1 or 1.5 (hardcore) if you'd like a demo. Having said that, most of us that played as armor squads (all vehicles, boats, helis, tanks, lavs) have decided to find another game rather then purchasing bf6. FIX THE VEHICLES PLZ!
