8 man squads or 8 man lobbies split into two 4 man squads.

Hi everyone,

Hope you've all had a great weekend on battlefield 6.

Me and my friends have had a hell of a weekend on battlefield 6. It’s exactly how a shooter game should be. However, we were all a bit disappointed about not all being able to play together in the same match. There was 8 of us on last night and we had in our heads that 8 man squads would’ve been a thing. Or at least, you could have 8 man parties and then all join a game together but splits into two 4 man squads.

This could totally change how the game feels. Larger squads mean better coordination, more tactical options, and the ability to cover more ground together. Imagine having two medics, two engineers, two support players, and two recon — you could handle almost any situation without relying too much on random teammates.

The idea of rolling with a full squad of 8, coordinating vehicles, air support, and ground pushes sounds awesome and could really push the “all-out warfare” feel Battlefield is known for.

Please EA, I have never been more hyped for a game as much as this. We had 8 people online last night and it was the busiest a gaming session has been in a very long time. We all had hopes to play together in the same team.

Thanks for your time

  • Yeah I completely agree with this. Me and my mates have had the exact same and the game feels incredible and easily the best Battlefield has felt in years But not being able to roll together as a full 8‑man group really takes away from what could’ve been an unreal weekend.

We had a bunch of us online too, all buzzing to jump in and dominate as one team, only to realise half of us had to play in a completely different game or at best end up on different sides. It just kills the vibe a bit when you’ve spent all week hyping up a big squad session and many of the lads end up having to wait for someone to leave.

Bigger parties or 8‑man squads would make such a difference as you'd have more strategy, better teamwork, and just a proper “Battlefield” feel. Two groups of four within the same team, working together across vehicles, infantry, and objectives, would be perfect. Really hope this is something EA can look at because the demand is clearly there!

    Peace

  • I agree bigger parties should be allowed, but it should split you between the teams.
