About bots and an offline mode - BF6

The problem with Portal mode is that it requires you to set up and use servers, which from what I understand are limited in quantity. We're asking for a solo/coop mode similar to what BF2042 has.

Man, that would be the dream Battlefield! I played 2 and 2142 almost exclusively with bots, and the original Battlefront as well. They are also the reason why I bought Star Wars: Battlefront II (2017) (well, that and split-screen) and play it almost every week to this day.

Having a modern Battlefield game have them as well would be amazing. And afaik Battlefield 6 will have online bots like 2042, so all the framework, like the pathing, navigation, AI, etc., should be there anyway. I wonder how hard it would be to make it run offline. I'd honestly be sold on the game in that case.

Seriously, why do modern games not add them anymore? They are so nice: you can learn maps, guns and vehicles at your own pace without being a nuisance online, or just have a couple relaxing matches without the sweats steamrolling you, and you won't need a PS Plus to experience the game, which is important for someone like me who doesn't really play multiplayer games as often anymore to justify a subscription.
Oh, and if you add split-screen to the mix... Well, I guess THAT will definitely never happen, sadly.

Actually, I've been playing a lot of Battlefield 3: Venice Unleashed with bots lately, and it's a lot of fun. I just wish there was a Battlefield with this available out of the box. Who knows, maybe Battlefield 6 could be the one?

I too also hope there is option to play with bots & also a co-op mode to play with friends against bots like we have in BF2042. I find it's a good way to warm up before jumping online, a relaxing game with friends or just practising with weapons & vehicles.

Hard agree, being able to play the game later on and without lag on a crappy connection is a good feature. The bots are somewhat stupid, but still convincing enough most of the times.

It's probably a case of waiting for full release, but I don't expect there to be offline bots myself. I'm anticipating the game being online-only. 

Totally agree. It's the feature I craved for years in battlefield. Now that maps are smaller than 2042, number of players is reduced to 64, I think it would be a right time to enable offline play for battlefield with  bots as current platforms could handle it in upcoming release. I simply want to play without needing to connect to any sort of server. Their behaviour poses inferest for me as they follow some request from player in 2042 this makes a good feeling about their progress made by the developers

I totally agree – I really hope Battlefield 6 includes an offline mode with bots!
Sometimes I just want to play alone without going online or dealing with other players. It's relaxing and fun to play against AI, try out weapons, explore maps, or just enjoy the game at my own pace.

I think offline bots should be a standard feature in big FPS games like Battlefield.
Please EA and DICE – listen to us offline players. There are many of us who really want this!

If you add offline bots, I’ll buy the game on day one – no hesitation.

Give us a mode like you did in Battlefront 2 against bots that we can play offline. Tens of thousands of people want this feature. Not only that but also many people and I buy our games depending on if it has offline bots or not.

I think it will be possible to set up such servers in portal mode
