absolutely no reason to ever use anything other than an LMG
LMG's are so stupidly broken. No recoil, perfect accuracy and you can get 5 kills at least before you have to reload.

anyone that thinks LMGs are bad, it might be you thats bad. seriously, they are stupidly strong. they have near zero recoil at medium ranges every shot is a laser beam even in full auto.
What are you talking about? If you’re referring to the KTS or the RPK74, then yeah sure; they’re also pea shooters, and man do they struggle when it comes to taking an obj… They’re specialized weapons for that range, they’d better be good at it.
But have you seen the insane recoil on an M240 or an M60? The M60 even had random horizontal recoil before it became a thing with the current patch. With the M250, you’d better be tap firing past 50m despite the weapon being described as “lethal at range” or something.
To be clear, you’d actually expect LMGs to dominate midrange, that should be their purpose. The reason they absolutely don’t is the large reduction in bloom and recoil across all weapons compared to previous titles. Every other category has a slew of weapons that will do much better at range, guns that aren’t supposed to do well in those circumstances but just do thanks to the design choices. And as those guns also perform better close up, it’s really not much of a competition.
