Sierra_SE Artillery in base wouldn’t be untouchable, because there are already multiple ways to counter it, even in its own spawn area:
Jet and attack helicopter strikes – air vehicles can fly directly over bases and destroy stationary artillery.
Stealth insertion – squads can parachute or use transport vehicles to infiltrate bases and plant C4/mines.
Long-range tank fire – tanks and armored vehicles can shell the base perimeter and hit artillery if it camps.
Drone explosives – small drones with C4 can sneak into bases and eliminate artillery.
Limited ammo & cooldown – artillery forced to leave base for resupply, making it vulnerable.
Weak armor – artillery designed to take only light damage before being destroyed.

Hello again.
- Jet and attack helicopter strikes - Vulnerable to base anti-air defence.
- Stealth insertion - not an option when in the spawn which is out of bounds for the enemy team.
- Long-range tank fire - not an option since most spawn areas are out of sight of the enemy team (iirc).
- Drone explosives - still subject to the out of bounds problem as they are equally affected by it.
- Limited ammo & cooldown - artillery wouldn't have to leave the base for resupply since there's a vehicle supply point in the main base.
- Weak armour - will promote them to stay out of sight, usually in the out of bounds spawn area.
