till now Javlin Anti-cheat has been doing a great job of keeping cheaters out, but recently I started to see more and more players with zero recoil coming from consoles using the most unwieldy guns, so I wanted to ask the community if they noticed anything suspicious
Every platform.
The problem is the developers. Its their jobs to police their game.
Be thankful 2 of the 3 platforms are trying to fix the issue. The 3rd doesn't care.
look bro not to brag or anything but I'm literaly #1 in a lot of things in my country's leaderboard like kills and multikills and got 1000 hours in conquest alone believe me when I say they weren't better they just had a massive advantage and I can't prove it until we get spectator mode and see all these console VSS guys full auto with only bloom and no recoil to speak off
Don't they have a way to detect it ? I mean come on it's just a device connected through USB they must be able to see it even on consoles right ?
I don't think it's just that, these are scripts for no recoil on guns like TR7, VSS, M433. It's an already easy game when using a gun you only have to deal with 3 factors 1-Recoil. 2-Spread (Bloom). 3-Movement accuracy penalties (Sway). and taking away the hardest one is definitely Cheating and an unearned advantage

yes it has and it's very obvious too.
it wasn't so bad some weeks ago but now the amount of console players that snap aim to you and instantly wipe you out in 2-3 shots is insane.
some PC players do this as well and these are the ones i guess are using cronus to get the controller assist with kbm.
game is virtually unplayable now it is that bad.
To be fair, the "cheating" devices for consoles don't do alot, they just provide in-human input speeds or allow people to use MnK while the game thinks they're using a controller. So you get all the benefits of MnK with the added broken autoaim, projectile guidance... well just those two I guess, the server connection is something every console gets as an advantage.
I don't really think it's needed anyways. EA treats consoles as the favored people and gives them a bunch of advantages while telling PC they're not allowed to NOT play with consoles.
Yes. There is ZERO attempt to ban cronus devices. If there was, you'd see 80% less console players.
Perhaps they just happen to be better the you you know there is more things you can do then just spray the target due the spread you just shoot shorter burts to reset the spread penalty each time
