oh yeah, I'm having a similar experience, even though I consider myself a decent pilot at least, it doesn't seem to buy me much in this game. I have nothing against oneshot anti-air weapons; however, they should be as difficult to use as the heli is, like this, it's not much fun because we are constantly in defensive mode as attack heli, almost never really attacking. Doesn't feel right, I understand what it means to play carefully, but the game forces me to play paranoid. That's too much. Hopefully, we get some tuning in the future.
Have you also noticed those YouTubers that showcase the heli/jet? They rarely get painted, AA ignores them, no RPG the whole game and they get 200 kills etc :D I wonder if they are just lucky, or EA purposefully boots only new players in their games to hype the game on YouTube in videos :D I wouldn't be surprised
I'm pretty sure that these YouTubers just get into braindead lobbies. Sometimes you're lucky and people don't really defend themselves, but most of the time that's not the case
