Auto-range finder and sweetspot need to be completely removed from snipers

Even if it has auto in its name it doesn't mean it automatically does it, you still have to aim at what you are going to shoot, hold down the range finder button and ready. If enemy moves then you'll set it to whatever is behind him so if actually buys you time if they are constantly using it.

I love the sweet spot mechanic, it has a counter which is the chest plate. I do agree that I would like them to exaggerate the bullet drop more. I really enjoyed getting head shots just from eyeing the distance

That's still way to powerful. And chest plate does not belong in Battlefield either. At least if it affects every other weapon as well. 

I agree, the range finder should not automatically zero your gun to the exact range of the enemy. The sweet spot mechanic is also arbitrary and makes sniping too easy and inconsistent on the receiving end. If they must add a one-shot-kill mechanic to sniper rifles, I would much prefer the BF4 model where snipers were only capable of one-shotting an enemy within 10m or so.

I 1000% agree with this. Sniping used to be somewhat of an art form that required talent. Now any smooth brain can use the range finder and think they’re good at sniping. 

I saw JackFrags I think the other day on YouTube showcasing how DICE allows you to keybind  the rangefinder to the same button as the fire button and it all happens instantly when you pull the trigger.

Him and his buddies were complaining about how broken it was and they were one shotting from all ranges just using the crosshair because every shot was instantly range adjusted.

This is nonsense. Because rangefinding does not happen instantly.
Yes, you can bind it to the same button as something else is, yet binding it to the trigger would be pointless since this would fire the shot before the range finder can complete its job.

Who gave this ignorant idea in first place is beyond my mind.. There was never in the history of Battlefield such bs as this thing right here. Range Finder?? (not the attachment the way it works atm) What if i could equip this range-finder to an Assault Rifle because technically i should be able.. Would that make any sense? if i'm just sweeping through everyone's head? This ruins snipers for people who spent time learning to play them and annoys people who don't like playing with snipers looks like i'm gonna keep my refund and won't even bother with Battlefield if they leave that thing the way it is, i'll try the BR and probably gonna move to CoD .. What if there was a range-finer for the Tanks and you didn't have to learn to aim with Tank does that make sense?

It really does need removed i remember in bf3 sniping 900+ meters on firestorm taking the drop into account and everything. Now any cod sniper can easily do it no skill involved just point and shot

100% agree, really the need to remove the ability to bind hold breath to aim and range finder to the fire button. This essentially does remove all skill from sniping. Just remove the range finder TBH, replace it with a range display, then snipers can just use mil dots like they should be doing anyway. 

If you guys continue to claim that binding range finder and trigger to the same key would gain anything you only

1. show that you have no clue what you are talking about
2. hence effectively demonstrate this is in fact not an issue at all
