Ban Appeal SLA / Timeline Expectations?

I received a permanent ban from BF6 on my account on November 24th, 2025. I do firmly believe this was an automated ban that falsely flagged my account for "gameplay enhancements". I've been stuck in the appeal process simply trying to get a human to investigate my account and provide me data regarding the ban... As I firmly believe I haven't breached any terms of Service.

So my appeal has been stuck "Waiting for Studio" since Nov 28th, which will be 2 entire months of being unable to play BF6 in just a couple of days. I'm simply wondering if others are stuck in the same boat, or if anyone has actually successfully gotten a response after their appeal was "Waiting for Studio".... I'm also wondering if EA / ToS support has any actual SLAs or expected timelines to deal with pending appeals, because 2 months with no real communication or acknowledgement seems pretty unacceptable to me. I have submitted other cases regarding the lack of communication, simply wanting to confirm that my appeal is moving through a queue, and I just get copy / paste responses on how to submit an appeal (which I obviously already have). Any one else actually successfully made it through the appeal process?

Yes. 2 weeks is reasonable. Go ahead and either submit another dispute then. Thank you.

Hi there. Since you haven't had a response in 2 months, try submitting another dispute. Instructions for that can be found in this article. Thanks!

Thank you for the response! This does require that I close my existing appeal, as I can't open a second ban appeal - and all other cases I open are just closed out immediately with copy / paste responses about how to submit an appeal... (as mentioned). With that in mind, I just worry that I will be left to wait yet again with no action for multiple months on the new appeal. Do you have any insight onto what should be the expected SLA or timeframe that I can expect a response? If I have to, I will continue to reopen cases if they breach the SLA / expected timeframe, as opposed to submitting a new case every 2 months....

    Thanks again for your time.

You can disregard my last question. After rereading the article you linked I realized that it does say there: "You can expect an email from noreply@ea.com within 10 days, though sometimes it takes longer. "

With that information, it seems like 2 weeks is a reasonable enough timeframe to submit a new case / appeal if no response is given to my open one(s). Thanks again!

Ive also been banned for gameplay enhancements on the 26 of december and i really dont know what they mean by that cause im not using any cheat and i've been appealing numerous time since without any success. Its really frustrating that there is no chat for this, its mostly automated response i feel like and they never tell you what you did they just say you broke the terms of service with a link to it wich is really unclear cause its 7 pages of legal terms that require a lawyer to decipher.I wish you a better luck than mine as i now feel like i cant be confident enough to buy any other EA related game knowing they can just ban me for no reason.

Yeah it is quite terrible to get a full account-level, cross-platform ban without actually exploiting the game at all. No notices, warnings, or anything specific mentioned about what the offense was, when it occurred, etc. I'm sure a lot of real cheaters and malicious players did get banned, and that's very much warranted and better for the game's community, and online multiplayer as a whole - but for those of us that got caught up in the crossfire due to some unknown circumstance that still hasn't been specified or proven... it feels like we have no recourse. My request got transferred again and is "Waiting on Studio". This time I'll be more diligent with bi-weekly calendar reminders to open new requests if they continue to get ignored, because of the principle of losing the license to access to a product I paid for without any valid breach to ToS.

I've seen people talk about online how they believe even their motherboard configuration got them banned, or other hardware / software things not related to, or used for any types of exploits. Even plenty of people report getting banned for "inappropriate" screen names or chat usage, when the screen names are totally inoffensive and perfectly acceptable, and in some cases the chat messages were too. Out of curiosity I thought I'd try to make a new account and I wasn't able to use the first part of my name "Arze", which is actually my real name spelled backwards ('Ezra', with my moniker 'ArzePoetic' also being a play on the latin term 'ars poetica'). Apparently "Arze" is flagged as a totally inappropriate word by the system. With that being the case I'm starting to think maybe my screenname is what actually got me flagged and banned, since this ban system definitely is broken on some level...

Super disappointed with EA / Dice as I've had this account since 2012, been a major Battlefield fan since BF3, and even have participated in multiple EA Playtests with this same account and no issues. I even enjoyed 2042 for what it was and had an absolute blast with BF6 for that first month. Shortly after my ban they dropped a game news post on Steam about how affective their anti-cheat system is, boasting all these extraordinary numbers of accounts that got banned; which felt extremely dishonest and exploitative from my perspective. I'm sure there are many legit bans that were issued, and that's awesome... but I also know a significant amount of those numbers were illegitimate cases. Best of luck with your situation, and anyone else who got the blind ban hammer unjustly.
