Base PS5: blurry graphics even in graphics mode

I genuinely thought I was the only one not understanding my friends on pc who say they love the graphics! 

The game looks so blurry and unfocused on my ps5, no matter which graphic setting I set or change, bf2042 looks so crisp and sharp compared to the new bf6 which is a huge disappointment. 

Hope the dev team will take it seriously... 

Ye 100% I agree its super blurry on base ps5. Iv turned up the sharpness & turned off the film grain etc & looks so blurry compared to older games. I got a funny feeling its bugged & in constant performance mode.

Same on Xbox series X.

I knew i wasn’t going crazy. Til this day i feel something is off. Idk if it’s because i got the CD over the digital but that’s just no way. I have balanced mode on, grain off, etc off, on a 4K TV and the game feels like an xbox 360 game

Im a long time Battlefield fan, even loved Hardline. But boy the Graphics are realllly blurry it’s unbearable. This is a let down for a game in 2025, they have to figure this out. Im on base Ps5 as well and i’ve adjusted every setting you can imagine and nothing helps. They will lose recurring players if this is not addressed 

I saw digital foundry video about ps5 version and realised that definitley there is just a problem like a bug for few players like us beacaus bf 6 in that video looks very sharrp and textur looks better than what i see in my ps5 consol !

I deleted hd content and have been redownloaded but didnt work :(

I want remove completly the game and all game download again

I noticed it was blurry also. I thought it was a know issue and would be fix next patch. Sometimes I can't start the game join a server and will look normal but after that game ends and load the next it stays kinda blurry. This is random but most of the time it's blurry. 

I have noticed that sometimes the gun and hands have a blur. Like main weapon and airburst rifle will blurry but the pistol is normal. 

Also sometimes the dark areas will be super dark and won't change from going from indoors to out. Kinda like the contrast is turned down then turns back up slowly over a few minutes. 

After the new update there has been lag opening the dashboard. Also in you fully dashboard the game in the background and go back controls stop working and have to restart 

Not a graphical issue but the controls have a jitters to it when doing fine adjustments really can notice it at 100% sensitivity. It will move freeze move freeze.  Another controller issue doesn't happen often. If you jump and ADS it will make you snap to the left 

The graphics on the base ps5 are bad. My friend has an xbox S and the game looks amazing. How is that possible when this console is even worse than the base ps5

Agree the graphics are blurry.

I don’t think this is a bug. I think it’s by design.

It seems that they’ve capped the resolution/ detail in order to accommodate the processing demands of things like destruction.

You’ll also notice that the texture rendering is also very bad. Graphics pop-in like I’ve never seen in a BF game before. I did some testing and if you walk forwards and look ahead, you can see bushes, foliage, rocks etc render in as you walk. I measured the rendering at as little as 67m using the location ping.

Even when you ADS, you can see textures fluctuate and render in.

It’s not a good look.
