Battle Field 6 update issues...

Wondering if I am the only one that seems to be having issues with the update installing. It is taking hours! It downloaded but is now going extremely slow to patch files. After waiting for around 3 hours, it is almost 60% finished. I have used my task manager to ensure nothing is running in the background and given Steam priority for processes. Not sure what else I can do. I was excited to get this update but, not if I cant play at all.

This is my first EA game as I switched over from COD, and I did find online some discussion of their seemingly antiquated way of providing updates, but I don't know if that is the issue or not. Any feedback is appreciated.
