The game is basically a headless chicken run and gun game. Can it be fun - yeah sure. Does it get old fast - yup. There is no depth to the experience. Just run from one flag to the next. Barely any cap point in the game is defensible by a squad. Health regen is too fast, medics are kinda pointless. Vehicle mechanics have also gone dumb down and backwards.
The thing is we all know the Devs are chasing the COD crowd, but we also know the COD crowd will also jump ship for the next shiny game
It does depend on the map, to be fair. I've had intense point defense situations in larger maps and which called for tactical gameplay. Hence, it can happen. Really feels satisfying at the end. I did not have this experience nor feeling in '2042'.
