Battlefield 6 Ban — No Way to Appeal & BBB Experience
[Reposting from EA Community Discussion for visibility]
Hey everyone,
I wanted to provide an update on my experience for everyone with this issue.
Context: On October 12th my Battlefield 6 account was banned for a supposed Terms of Service violation ("gameplay enhancement"). The ban doesn’t appear on my EA account, so I can’t submit an appeal through EA Help. Every attempt to contact support loops back to automated pages with no way to reach the Terms of Service team. I have one case in 'Waiting on Studio' status.
The software I have on my PC that could've been the culprit:
- SignalRBG
- Razer Synapse
- NVIDIA Overlay
- Caffeine
So, I filed a complaint through the Better Business Bureau (BBB) to get a formal review. EA responded very quickly (probably means they take it seriously), but they responded three times with the exact same message:
“We’ve reviewed the account and the action taken was due to a violation of our Terms of Service. This has already been addressed and the conclusion provided directly to the account owner. If the player wishes to dispute the action taken with any new information available, they will need to contact the EA Terms of Service team directly.”
Since there’s still no working way to contact that team, I asked BBB to close the case, which they did with a resolution status of ‘Answered – Consumer Dissatisfied’.
I’m posting this to let others know what to expect and to ask: has anyone successfully reached the Terms of Service team or resolved this?
I know that recently a user on these forums heard back from EA with an apology, but their account was still banned and they could not play the game.
Thanks for reading. I hope this gets resolved soon. I miss my friends.
