It’s a shame to see a legendary franchise like Battlefield become a cautionary tale of "live service" greed. Its a store front disguised as a game. By shifting to that cookie-cutter, Call of Duty-style monetization, they’ve managed to alienate the very people who kept the series alive for over two decades. If BF7 launches with the same philosophy, it won't just be a bad game—it will likely be the moment the franchise loses its identity for good.
There is a reason BO7 failed miserably, EA looked at this and said "Hold my beer".
First thing I saw when I bought battlefield 6 was more ads asking for me to spend money , was actually shocked they're following Activision's footsteps

Exactly. It is jarring to boot up a premium, full-priced game and immediately be greeted by a digital mall. EA saw the billions Activision made with that exact layout and chose to copy the monetization instead of focusing on the core Battlefield identity. It instantly kills the atmosphere before you even join a match.
