Battlefield 6 Needs to Address the Cheating via Adapters (Cronus Zen, XIM, etc.)

Why has it been so difficult for game developers across the industry to consistently punish players who use these tools? Titles like Call of Duty, Apex Legends, and Destiny have faced the same challenge for years, yet effective detection and enforcement remain rare. From a technical standpoint, is the primary obstacle that these devices mimic official controller inputs at a hardware level, making them exceptionally difficult to distinguish from legitimate gameplay?
