Battlefield Labs Steam Linking/Code Issue

Hello!

I just finished talking to EA Advisor on the customer help menu. To summarize, I accidentally redeemed the BF Labs Code I was sent on a new Steam account which was not linked to my current EA account. When logging into BF Labs and being prompted to log in via EA, I got the message that my EA account (email) was already linked to my old Steam Account.

I was unsuccessful in trying to change my old (linked) Steam Account to my new (unlinked) Steam Account on the "Connected Accounts" tab and cannot unlink my current Steam Account to correct it until next year. "You can unlink your account after 2026-03-10"

After Discussing solutions with the EA Advisor, I was told to come to this Forum and report my situation in order to get a new BF Labs Steam Code that I can then redeem under the correctly linked Steam Account. To quote, "Also if you want to get another code then you will need to post this in the forum link for the playtest beta where you will need to wait after posting" per EA help service.

I would very much like to be able to participate in the next iteration of playtesting that is happening on 09/12/2025 if still possible.

For context, I created a new steam account under direction of the email sent with loading instructions "Log in or create a Steam account using the email associated with this message". The old Steam Account which is currently linked to my EA does not use that email address, but it appears to not matter due to the game asking me to login via EA Email Address while launching BF Labs.

Thank you!

Yeah, I had an issue with the invite link expiring, and I went to EA help first, they then told me to come here, I went here, was told to go back there, and I got told to come back here LOL, would love if someone could solve my issue, I understand must be a busy time for them though

I had a feeling that may be the case with this too, would be really cool to get a quick fix. Really wish the directions had specified that you need to use the steam account that is linked to EA, not just that it needs to match the email you got the code on.
